We are extremely pleased to be able to present our first annual report to you. All beginnings are exciting and enriching and sometimes challenging.
The fact that the Trans Safety Emergency Fund (TSEF) was able to enjoy such great trust within the community in its very first year has spurred us on and motivated us immensely. The very large number of applications received in the first year confirms our knowledge that Trans people are still very socially and financially disadvantaged, but also makes us think. A lot of work will still be needed to do justice to this great task. With our excellent team and unique community, we are optimistic about the future and look forward to all the people and stories we will meet in the coming year.
